WILD SELF

a seasonal 3 month online body soul creative journey

with Kat Nantz and Tessa Fleming

Begins: April 13

Time: 1pm - 5pm EST via zoom

if you’ve landed here on this page, you want more from your life.

That longing, the feeling of being lost, lonely, misplaced, not quite right, numb, agitated, under rested, feeling outside your body like you can never quite land, are all ways your soul beckons you to listen, to come home.

This program is a home coming.

What is a body soul creative journey?

It's a potent Re-membering ritual.

A song we sing over our bodies, a song that when we hear it,

it reminds us of something we abandoned long ago,

it tugs at a deep familiarity and beckons us to follow it to the rich underworld of a woman's inner psyche.

The program calls all our wild and wise, our lost and hidden parts of ourselves home.

Through art, intuitive writing, movement, somatics, meditation, and storytelling, we tend to the deeper longings within ourselves and our society.

This is an initiatory program, which invites you to come

in direct contact with your own instinctive intuitive nature.

This program invites us to reintroduce the creative, playful, curious, wild, embodied parts of ourself.

It’s a soft yet honest landing, an opportunity to fully inhabit our body's within a beautifully contained community that will be nurtured over a 12 month period, in 3 month chunks that follow the seasons and our body's natural rhythm.

WHAT THE PROGRAM IS ABOUT

With Clarissa Pinkola Estés’s Women Who Run With the Wolves as our guide the program will be structured each month around one chapter, or in some cases just one myth or story.

Honouring the celebration of animal instinct in the book and our own nature, the program will also be structured around the different seasons, honouring our body's cyclical nature.

The myths and stories will sound and support us into the changing rhythms each new month brings.

This book is a powerful resource, a sacred text.

The book is a love letter to the wild women in each of us- an archetypal force and energy that each of us has.

Together in a community of women we will unearth the book’s wisdom through listening, sharing, discussion, dance, movement, writing, art making. It is through these practices in a community of seekers that we begin to see ourselves in the stories, begin to listen for, heel to and live with the Wild Self within.

Now we are going to speak to you soul…

The program is a vital life force.

It is a song sung over lifetimes and ancestors. It's the lullaby to comfort and the anthem to stand tall.

Domestication is the water we swim in.

To truly know yourself you must be willing to leap from the waters you know.

To breathe bigger and deeper than ever before, to speak with a breath so strong it moves the trees, to plant your feet so firmly on the ground that the roots beneath come up to meet you.

You are more than the life you are living.

You feel it in your bones.

The program is uninterrupted time with parts of you.

Parts and beings that are long forgotten. The program is time to come into direct contact with your deep knowing.

We don’t do this work alone.

The soul is shy but comes alive in community.

In community our truth is reflected back to us in each other’s lives and the stories and myths we will read.

We are pack animals, we are a co-regulating species.

We need each other, this is why we do this work together.

This is an honest space.

This is a space where you’ll be invited to shed the layers and stories of who you were told to be, to put your feet in the rich soil of your own growth and be witness to the story of your own becoming.

This description is a story.

Do you see yourself in it?
